4 & Under Division

Gerber Ladies

Cherri, Shannon, and Caitlin Gerber have been working with the 3&4 Year olds for a long time…a long, long time!…and have enjoyed it every year! The Gerbers are based in Kelowna and are a Mother/Daughters team. Cherri is a Secondary Math/Science Specialist at Okanagan Adventist Academy, Shannon is a Primary Specialist teaching Kindergarten at Kelowna Christian School, and Caitlin is a Registered Nurse working at Kelowna General Hospital. Cherri and Shannon are also both Sabbath School teachers at Orchard City SDA Church. We believe that teaching some of the littlest children about how much God loves them, and how His plans for His people are shown through creation, is the highest calling that can be received. Camp Meeting is a highlight of each year, and we are looking forward to the unique opportunities and challenges that Camp Meeting from a distance will hold for us all. We can’t wait to show you our corner of creation!
We are very grateful to the people who have helped us make our virtual camp meeting a reality.

Thank you to Nancy Wageman, who painted the backdrop in the room where we recorded, and who recorded all of the music for us!
Thank you to Orchard City Church, for allowing us to record in the Kids Corner building and on the church property.
Thank you to Pastor Royce Odiyar, for recording Bible stories and helping with our Zoom classes!
Thank you to Pastor Rob Folkenberg for sharing a video about rocks, and Bethany Folkenberg for helping with an art project.
Thank you to Myla, Cameron, Eliza, and Ayleigh for helping us with art projects and activity videos!
And thank YOU all, for joining us in this fun adventure! We hope you are able to choose many of the activities in our “menu of choices”, as we learn and play together.
